We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as health or biometric data) unless explicitly provided by you and necessary for the Services. You should avoid submitting sensitive information unless required.

 

We may use automated systems, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large language models, to analyze submitted inputs and generate scores, classifications, confidence indicators, workflow mappings, executive summaries, recommendations, source citations, and related materials (collectively, "Outputs"). Outputs are AI-assisted analytical summaries produced through the Company's proprietary methods, including algorithm design, evidence handling, confidence calibration, and analysis structuring.

These systems may process Customer Data to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services and to personalize your experience. For clarity, such use does not include training or fine-tuning generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models on your User Data, except as expressly permitted in our Terms of Use.

 

We collect the following categories of information in connection with your use of the Services: account and contact data (email address, organization name if provided, account identifiers); authentication and session data (sign-in events, session records, token metadata, IP-derived security signals, device or browser metadata); submitted analysis inputs (company names, URLs, domains, product identifiers, notes, and other inputs used to request analyses); analysis and usage data (generated analyses, scores, classifications, workflow mappings, source citation metadata, analysis-sharing records, analysis-access history, product usage events); payment and transaction data (payment status, transaction references, billing metadata, purchase history; payment card data is processed by our payment processor and not stored by Evermethod); support and communications data (support requests, bug reports, feedback submissions, related correspondence); security, compliance, and audit data (consent records, fraud-prevention signals, abuse-prevention data, system logs, audit trails); and provider interaction data (records of which provider, feature path, or processing configuration was used for a given request, where maintained for security, troubleshooting, audit, or support purposes).

 

We automatically collect certain technical and usage information when you access or use the Services, including IP address and approximate location (e.g., country-level), device type, operating system, browser type, and language preferences, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, and time spent, and Internet service provider, timestamps, metadata, and clickstream data.

We use this information to operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services, as well as to support fraud prevention and access controls.

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and tracking links) to operate and secure the Services, analyze usage and performance, personalize features and analyses, and track interactions with third-party providers and referral partners.

You may manage cookie preferences through your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may impact certain functionality.

 

We may aggregate or de-identify information collected through the Services so that it no longer identifies any individual or customer. Such aggregated or de-identified data may be used for analytics, service improvement, research, and reporting purposes, and may be disclosed to third parties. This data does not constitute personal data.

With your consent or as otherwise permitted by law, we may send you marketing and promotional communications regarding our products and services. You may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in such communications or by contacting us directly.

The Services may include social media features or widgets provided by third parties (such as LinkedIn, X, or similar platforms). These features may collect your IP address and set cookies. Your interactions with such features are governed by the privacy policies of the respective third-party providers.

We may use cookies, pixels, or tracking links to track interactions with third-party providers or referral partners. We may receive commissions or referral fees in connection with such interactions. These tracking mechanisms are used for attribution and analytics purposes.

We take all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally identifying information. We disclose potentially personally identifying information only on an as-needed (or required) basis, as follows:

To our personnel that need to know that information in order to process it on our behalf or to provide the Services, and that have expressly agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees and contractors may be located outside of your home country; by using the Services you consent to the transfer of such information to them.

To our service providers who help us operate the Services, including providers of artificial intelligence, search and retrieval, hosting, storage, email, analytics, payment processing, and security services. Examples include Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Stripe, and Google Workspace or similar business-email infrastructure, as further described in our Terms of Use under "AI-Assisted Services." These providers process information solely on our behalf and subject to applicable confidentiality and data-use restrictions. Where web-search-assisted or retrieval-assisted features are enabled, these providers may receive query terms, target-entity identifiers, URLs or domains, and limited surrounding request context to retrieve and process lawfully accessible public-web data on our behalf. Provider-side processing, retention, and available controls may differ depending on the provider, feature, and configured mode. We may update or replace these providers from time to time without notice.

As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process. To the extent we are legally permitted to do so, we will take commercially reasonable steps to notify you if we are required to provide your personal information to third parties as part of a legal process.

When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a written government request.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of Evermethod's assets, we will ensure that the acquiring organization agrees to protect personal information in accordance with the commitments we have made in this Privacy Policy.

To any other third party with your prior consent. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We retain different categories of data for different periods, depending on the business and legal need for the data. Short-lived technical data such as temporary tokens, transient processing artifacts, and certain caches are typically retained for a short period and deleted automatically on a rolling basis. Account, analysis, and sharing records are generally retained while the account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward. Billing and transaction records may be retained for longer periods as needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Security and audit logs may be retained as reasonably necessary to monitor security, investigate incidents, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Support communications and feedback records may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, improve the Services, document issues, and resolve disputes.

We may delete or de-identify data earlier than the periods described above, or retain data for longer periods, where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, resolve disputes, maintain backup integrity, or protect the security and integrity of the Services.

If you have provided your email address to access or use our Services, we may send you service-related communications, such as account notices, product updates, feature announcements, or requests for feedback. We strive to limit non-essential communications.

You may opt out of receiving marketing or promotional emails at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in those communications. Please note that transactional or service-related emails may still be sent as necessary to provide our Services.

When you navigate to third-party services, those third parties may independently collect personal information from you. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

We implement reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We encourage users to take steps to protect their personal information, including using strong passwords, securing account credentials, and enabling two-factor authentication where available.

Where an analysis owner invites others to view a shared analysis, those invited viewers may be required to authenticate and accept the then-current Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy before first access. Acceptance is logged and associated with the viewer's email address. Invited viewers may access only the specific analyses shared with them through the Services.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information by contacting us at support@evermethod.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request and will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, and certain other state and international privacy laws provide individuals with specific data protection rights, including: the right to request deletion of your personal data; the right to information about how we collect, use, and disclose your personal data; the right to access personal data we maintain about you; the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data; the right to withdraw consent where we rely on your consent to process personal data; the right to object to certain processing, including direct marketing activities; the right to data portability; the right to limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information; and, for California residents, the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information (as defined under California law), including for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Our Services are not available to or directed to individuals under the age of 18 ("minors"), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. Evermethod does not knowingly solicit personal information from minors or knowingly engage with third-party websites or platforms that are directed at minors.

If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information. If you believe that a minor has disclosed personal information to us, please contact us at support@evermethod.com.

If you access our website or Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information, including personal information, may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.
